“I found my stay quite challenging. I was disappointed with the treatment by some staff members. The bed was not clean, and there appeared to be a rust stain, or hopefully not blood, on the sheets. After some lengthy discussions, I was able to move to a different room. The location is convenient for a brief stopover if other options are unavailable, although the area is quite noisy, especially the gardener at 7am. “We stayed at the Ship Inn a few years ago when we attended our Nephews wedding and so were happy to return for his 40th Birthday with other family. Although the Motel is old, it’s very clean and well maintained. The bed was really comfy with excellent quality Linen so all pretty good. Shower temp was fluctuating a bit but that was the only issue and not a big one.”
